Returns and Warranty Policy

Returns & Warranty Policy

Applies to all purchases made through Riders Warehouse

At Riders Warehouse, we work with a range of trusted electric scooter and e-bike brands, each of which has its own return and warranty policy. As an authorised retailer, all returns, repairs, and warranty claims are handled in accordance with the specific brand or manufacturer’s terms.

🔁 Returns Policy

Riders Warehouse does not offer a store-wide return policy. Return eligibility and conditions are set by each brand and may vary depending on:

  • The product type (e.g. scooter, e-bike, accessory)

  • Whether the item has been used or opened

  • The reason for the return (e.g. change of mind, fault)

Important:

  • Some brands do not accept returns once a product has been opened or assembled.

  • Others may charge restocking or inspection fees.

  • Return shipping is usually at the customer’s expense, unless the return is due to a verified fault.

Please check the product page for brand-specific return details, or contact us before purchasing if you’re unsure.

🛡️ Warranty Coverage

All products sold at Riders Warehouse are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, which protects you against manufacturing defects for a fixed period — usually 6 to 24 months depending on the brand.

Generally, warranties do not cover:

  • Water or weather damage

  • Damage caused by crashes or accidents

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g. tyres, brake pads, bearings)

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, scuffs)

  • Modifications or unauthorised repairs

  • Misuse or poor maintenance

The exact warranty period and terms will vary by brand. We recommend reviewing the warranty details listed on each product page.

🧾 Warranty Claims Process

  1. Contact Us: If you believe your item is faulty, get in touch with our support team with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photos or videos.

  2. Assessment: We’ll liaise with the manufacturer or brand to assess the fault and confirm whether it’s covered under warranty.

  3. Next Steps: If approved, the product or parts may be:

    • Repaired under warranty

    • Replaced

    • Or a quote may be issued for non-warranty repair or parts

⚠️ Return shipping for warranty claims is usually the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise specified by the brand.

🔄 No Fault Found / Non-Covered Issues

If your item is returned and found not to have a manufacturing fault, or if the issue is not covered under warranty:

  • We may charge an inspection fee (depending on the brand)

  • You will be responsible for return shipping

  • We’ll provide a quote for any non-warranty repair work or replacement parts

👤 Non-Transferable Warranties

Most warranties are valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred if the product is sold or given to someone else.
